“When you came out of my tummy, the first thing you looked for was my breast.”
This beautifully illustrated book tells the story of the powerful bond shared between a mother and her newborn baby. The mother explains to her child about their breastfeeding relationship – how it started, how she would breastfeed all the time when he was young (when she was shopping, on the phone, talking to friends…) and how gradually he started eating more food and eventually stopped needing or wanting breastmilk.
A useful way to show older children they had their own special breastfeeding relationship, before a younger child is born. Also simply a lovely book showing breastfeeding to be a natural part of mothering and a way of sharing love.
