Description
The Resilience Plan for Healthcare Students is a wire bound book that combines theory with practical exercises empowering you to write your own strategy for building your personal resilience. It has been written specifically for healthcare students who undertake placements as part of their course, and helps them to gain confidence in their identity as a valued member of the healthcare work force.
It will help you to navigate through periods of heavy workload or stressful situations. It will help you to further develop the resilience you already have and gain confidence in new areas of placement with your mentors. It looks at different models of coping with stress, reframing, growth mindsets, organising your work load, developing healthy habits, discovering how you can quickly recognise stress in your body and help you find a solution to overcome it, and more.
- Values and identity

The book also includes a 3 month morning journal which will help you to establish some of the tools introduced throughout the book.
This book is both informing and interactive, and enjoyable to work through. My hope is that it empowers every student who reads it to feel ready to walk confidently into any placement area, and know they have the tools ready to handle anything that’s thrown at them.
