Hold Your Prem is a workbook for parents who have a premature baby, and a resource for health professionals working with them. It is intended that parents work their way through the simple exercises in the book, in consultation with their health professionals.
In Hold Your Prem, Jill Bergman explains the extensive body of research supporting Kangaroo Mother Care in everyday language paired with useful illustrations. She also covers practical concerns and emotional needs, and provides practical tools to assist parents in being actively involved in their baby’s care and to effectively communicate their wishes to health professionals.
