About the Authors
Debby Takikawa trained as a chiropractor and received further training in perinatal psychology, she is a doula and the director of the documentary What Babies Want and co-author of the book What Babies Want.
Carrie Contey has a PhD in clinical psychology with a specialty in prenatal and perinatal psychology, an M.A. in prenatal and perinatal psychology, and holds a M.Ed. degree in health education and health promotion and a B.A. in psychology. She is the co-author of the book What Babies Want.
