About Birth Issues

Birth Issues is a peer reviewed quarterly journal, published for 15 years by Capers Bookstore until December 2006 when the difficult decision was made to cease publication due to ill health.

The journal's aim was to reflect the interests of midwives, lactation consultants, childbirth educators, general practitioners, obstetricians, physiotherapists and other health professionals working in maternal child health.

Abstracts and Articles 

The journal was indexed by the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), by the Australasian Medical Index (AMI) and Informit.

Reprints of original articles from Volume 8 1999 are available from CINAHL and from Volume 10 2001 from Informit (Meditext)
